Job Title: Programme Manager &– Finance Transformation (Housing Sector)
Location: South East England (Hybrid/Remote options considered)
Rate: &£700–£800 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager with a strong track record in the housing association sector to lead a critical finance transformation programme. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who combines strategic oversight with operational delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a finance transformation programme within a housing association context.

• Manage internal teams and external partners to drive successful outcomes aligned with business goals.

• Engage with senior stakeholders (Board, Exec, finance leads, operational heads) to ensure alignment, buy-in, and clear communication.

• Provide leadership to a small project team (approx. 4–6 members), ensuring accountability, quality, and progress tracking.

• Maintain a business-focused lens across all programme phases, ensuring measurable impact and value delivery.

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience as a Programme Manager delivering complex transformation programmes, ideally within the housing sector.

• Strong background in finance systems/processes transformation or similar change initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external delivery partners.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels.

• Results-oriented with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.
